How Do You Safely Separate Your Barrels, Screw, And Shaft From An Extruder?
Step 1 heat your barrels fully, make sure the inside material is melted.
Step 2 loosened connecting devices, such as Screen changer, connecting flanges, and couplings connected to the reducer, etc.
Step 3 use a hard rod to hold a gap at the feeding and degassing place
Step 4 pull out the screw from the outlet
Step 5 dismantling screw head
Step 6 separating the screw element and the core shaft.
It is important to note that if it is local heating, the temperature should not exceed 500 degrees Celsius, prevent the screw element or the core shaft from tempering, and affect the reuse.
