How Do The Die Damage Be Repaired?
The quality and accuracy of the moulds have a direct influence on the quality of the products. Once the mold is damaged, indentation, wear and surface pits, the corresponding parts of the product will be displayed. Therefore, when the quality and accuracy of the mold is in question, it must be repaired in time.
What are the common maintenance methods?
（1）The electroplating repair: for cavity forming surface wear parts, plating a layer of hard chromium layer, and then grinding and polishing.
（2） surfacing repair: for parts that appear to be pits or partially damaged, low temperature argon arc welding can be used to surmount the missing parts and then be lapping and polishing.
（3）Epoxy resin repair: for the concave pits on the surface with high hardness, epoxy resin can be used to repair and then cut off.
（4） reaming and repairing: for the areas where the wear is serious and the pore size is bigger, if the strength of the die is not affected, the hole can be expanded to some dimensions, and then the guide pillar which is matched with it can be reformulated.
（5）Mosaic repair: for the local damage of large mold, it can be machined and damaged, and then embedded a piece of metal with the same material and processed it again.
（6）The pad thickness added repair: wear on the large mold, the bottom pad plate, the thickness increased, the wear surface planing, trimming to the original thickness.
（7）The replacement of parts, for serious wear or bending fracture can not be repaired when used in conjunction with the manufacturing method, manufacturing replacement.
